The KFA has officially announced Korea’s (senior men’s side) friendly dates for the coming months.
In October, Korea will host Paraguay and Costa Rica. In November the team will hit the road and play matches against Jordan and Iran. These matches will be the first, of course, for new manager Uli Stielike. The opponents are not easy ones, but should present an opportunity for Stielike to get his reign off to a positive start.
October
10/10 vs Paraguay, Cheonan Sports Complex (South Korea)
10/14 vs Costa Rica, Seoul World Cup Stadium (South Korea)
November
11/14 vs Jordan, Amman International Stadium (Amman, Jordan)
11/18 vs Iran, Azadi Stadium (Tehran, Iran)
*Kick off times have not been announced yet*
Paraguay, not too familiar with them, but if Costa Rica brings their A squad, that’ll be a good matchup
Paraguay was more famous at 2010 WC for one of their “World Cup beauties” than any of their players. On the last roster the only name I recognized was Roque Santa Cruz. Most of their players play in South America or Mexico. They finished bottom of the COMNEBOL 2014 World Cup qualifying.
