It was kind of swept under the rug following the fast and furious news of Uli Stielike’s sacking and the technical committee’s resignation, but Son Heungmin fractured bones in his forearm early in the match against Qatar:
However, the injury wasn’t as bad as initially suggested and Son’s surgery earlier today was a success.
He is expected to be out for 4 weeks and should recover in time for Tottenham’s pre-season. Hopefully that will be the case, as the more weeks he misses, the less match fit he will be for the beginning of the Premier League season and for the World Cup qualifiers in late August.
Son Heung-min is expected to make full recovery on his broken right arm before Tottenham's first preseason game against PSG on July 22.
