An impressive MOTM performance from Son Heung-Min and damn well nearly got his first Premier League hat trick as Spurs hosted Watford last Saturday, we’ll get to his history making antics later but right now let’s take a quick look at some tasty fixtures as K-League squads ready themselves for matchday 4 in Asian Champions League competition.

ICYMI: Son Hueng-min scored a brace over the weekend, missed his last two chances to score, but to Watford, damage done with 2 lethal goal that put the game out of reach for the visiting Watford. Son won Man of the Match. He scored his 10th and 11th Premier League goals this season and with that – he became the highest scoring Korean in Premier League history. His stock is rising again and statisticians pointed out that Son, despite floating in and out of the starting lineup – has scored at a fast and efficient clip.
2 quick items that just popped up on my radar:
- Rumor on Daily Star that Liverpool’s skipper Klopp has been urged to transfer the Korean to the merseyside club
- ESPN FC just released their Power Rankings and Son comes out on top, beating out the likes of Hazard and Lewandowski for the top position.
I’m in desperate need for sleep so I’ll leave you with Heon’s video summary of Son’s performance against Watford – and when I can, I’ll update again about this and the rest of the KPA’s in action plus K-League results
When Son has a good week for Tottenham, it’s a good week for South Korean soccer.
He is making us proud.
